Honorable President, respected board members, advisors, senators, committee members, guests, and well-wishers:

It is my privilege to present the Treasurer’s Report of Education Global Senate for the period ending June 30, 2026.

During this reporting period, the organization recorded total revenue of $21,188.33 and total expenditures of $5,115.88, resulting in a current-period surplus of $16,072.45. The major sources of revenue were $16,188.33 in investment income and a $5,000 Super Senator contribution.

The principal expenditure during this period was a $5,000 charitable contribution to Cure Blindness. Website and miscellaneous expenses totaled only $115.88, demonstrating careful control of administrative costs.

As of June 30, 2026, the organization’s total assets were $170,785.54, consisting of:

• Fidelity investments: $163,189.45
• PNC checking account: $5,094.71
• PNC savings account: $2,501.38

The organization continues to follow an important principle of financial stewardship: Senator and Super Senator contributions are placed in the endowment and are not spent as operating funds. The principal is preserved, while investment earnings may be used to support grants, charitable activities, and the mission of the organization.

Our financial history also demonstrates meaningful community impact. Documented charitable giving includes $8,000 in 2021–2022, $40,475 in 2022–2023, $84,000 in 2023–2024, $7,300 in 2024–2025, and $5,000 during the current reporting period. Altogether, documented charitable giving and grants since 2021–2022 total $144,775.

The 2022–2023 fiscal year was the organization’s major fundraising year, with revenue of $291,543.89, expenditures of $84,926.26, and a year-end balance of $220,199.63. In 2024–2025, the organization generated a modest surplus of $2,652.67 and closed the year with assets of $154,713.09.

These results reflect collective commitment, responsible investment, disciplined spending, transparency, and a sustained focus on impact.

I express my sincere appreciation to the President, Financial Director, board members, Audit Committee, Investment Committee, Grants Committee, and all senators whose trust and support have made this progress possible.

जुन ३०, २०२६ सम्मको Education Global Senate को आर्थिक प्रतिवेदन प्रस्तुत गर्न पाउँदा म गौरवान्वित छु।

यस प्रतिवेदन अवधिमा संस्थाको कुल आम्दानी २१,१८८ अमेरिकी डलर ३३ सेन्ट र कुल खर्च ५,११५ डलर ८८ सेन्ट रहेको छ। यसरी संस्थाले यस अवधिमा १६,०७२ डलर ४५ सेन्ट बचत कायम गरेको छ। आम्दानीका प्रमुख स्रोतहरूमा १६,१८८ डलर ३३ सेन्ट लगानी आम्दानी र एक जना Super Senator बाट प्राप्त ५,००० डलर योगदान रहेका छन्।

यस अवधिको प्रमुख खर्च Cure Blindness लाई प्रदान गरिएको ५,००० डलरको सहयोग हो। वेबसाइट र विविध प्रशासनिक खर्च जम्मा ११५ डलर ८८ सेन्ट मात्र रहेको छ। यसले संस्थाले प्रशासनिक खर्चलाई न्यून र नियन्त्रणमा राखेको देखाउँछ।

जुन ३०, २०२६ सम्म संस्थाको कुल सम्पत्ति १,७०,७८५ डलर ५४ सेन्ट रहेको छ। यसको विवरण यस प्रकार छ:

• Fidelity लगानी: १,६३,१८९ डलर ४५ सेन्ट
• PNC checking खाता: ५,०९४ डलर ७१ सेन्ट
• PNC savings खाता: २,५०१ डलर ३८ सेन्ट

संस्थाले जिम्मेवार आर्थिक व्यवस्थापनको एउटा महत्वपूर्ण सिद्धान्तलाई निरन्तर पालना गर्दै आएको छ। सिनेटर तथा Super Senator बाट प्राप्त शुल्क र योगदान endowment कोषमा सुरक्षित राखिन्छ। उक्त मूल रकम नियमित सञ्चालन खर्चका लागि प्रयोग गरिँदैन। लगानीबाट प्राप्त प्रतिफललाई मात्र अनुदान, सामाजिक सेवा तथा संस्थाको उद्देश्यअनुसारका कार्यक्रमहरूमा उपयोग गर्न सकिन्छ।

संस्थाको आर्थिक इतिहासले यसको सामाजिक प्रभावसमेत स्पष्ट देखाउँछ। उपलब्ध अभिलेखअनुसार:

• सन् २०२१–२०२२ मा ८,००० डलर
• सन् २०२२–२०२३ मा ४०,४७५ डलर
• सन् २०२३–२०२४ मा ८४,००० डलर
• सन् २०२४–२०२५ मा ७,३०० डलर
• र हालको अवधिमा ५,००० डलर

अनुदान तथा सामाजिक सहयोगका रूपमा प्रदान गरिएको छ। यसरी सन् २०२१–२०२२ देखि जुन २०२६ सम्मको अभिलेखित कुल अनुदान तथा परोपकारी सहयोग १,४४,७७५ डलर पुगेको छ।

सन् २०२२–२०२३ संस्था निर्माण र कोष संकलनको विशेष वर्ष थियो। त्यस वर्ष कुल आम्दानी २,९१,५४३ डलर ८९ सेन्ट, कुल खर्च ८४,९२६ डलर २६ सेन्ट, र वर्षान्त मौज्दात २,२०,१९९ डलर ६३ सेन्ट रहेको थियो। सन् २०२४–२०२५ मा संस्थाले २,६५२ डलर ६७ सेन्ट बचत गर्दै कुल सम्पत्ति १,५४,७१३ डलर ९ सेन्ट कायम गरेको थियो।

यी उपलब्धिहरू सामूहिक प्रतिबद्धता, जिम्मेवार लगानी, अनुशासित खर्च, पारदर्शिता र दीर्घकालीन सामाजिक प्रभावप्रतिको हाम्रो समर्पणका परिणाम हुन्।

म अध्यक्षज्यू, वित्तीय निर्देशकज्यू, बोर्ड सदस्यहरू, लेखापरीक्षण समिति, लगानी समिति, अनुदान समिति तथा सम्पूर्ण सिनेटरज्यूहरूप्रति हार्दिक कृतज्ञता व्यक्त गर्दछु। यहाँहरूको विश्वास, समय र निरन्तर सहयोगले नै यो प्रगति सम्भव भएको हो।

सचिवको संक्षिप्त वार्षिक प्रतिवेदन

Education Global Senate वार्षिक साधारण सभा—२०२६

आदरणीय अध्यक्षज्यू, प्रमुख अतिथिज्यू, पदाधिकारीज्यूहरू, सम्माननीय सिनेटरज्यूहरू तथा उपस्थित सम्पूर्ण महानुभावहरू,

संस्थाको सचिवको हैसियतले यो संक्षिप्त वार्षिक प्रतिवेदन प्रस्तुत गर्न पाउँदा गौरवान्वित छु।

सन् २०२२ मा स्थापित Education Global Senate को उद्देश्य विश्वव्यापी अक्षयकोष निर्माण गर्दै आर्थिक तथा सामाजिक रूपमा पछाडि परेका बालबालिकालाई गुणस्तरीय शिक्षाको अवसर प्रदान गर्नु हो। हाम्रो विश्वास स्पष्ट छ—शिक्षा विशेष सुविधा होइन, प्रत्येक बालबालिकाको अधिकार हो।

हाम्रो संस्थाको सबैभन्दा महत्वपूर्ण सम्पत्ति भवन, बैंक खाता वा कार्यक्रम होइनन्—हाम्रा सिनेटरहरू नै हाम्रो सबैभन्दा ठूलो शक्ति र पूँजी हुनुहुन्छ। उहाँहरूको विश्वास, योगदान र सेवाभावले नै यो विश्वव्यापी परोपकारी अभियान सम्भव भएको छ।

यस वर्ष हामीले प्रत्येक महिनाको पहिलो आइतबार नियमित बैठक सञ्चालन गर्‍यौँ। साथै, जुलाई २६, २०२६ मा विशेष AGM बैठकसमेत सम्पन्न गर्‍यौँ।

यस अवधिमा हामीले तीन जना नयाँ सिनेटरलाई स्वागत गर्‍यौँ:

• सिनेटर प्रितेश कार्की—क्यालिफोर्निया
• सिनेटर सन्ता नगरकोटी—इलिनोइस
• सिनेटर तीर्थराज पाण्डे—मेरिल्यान्ड

हाम्रा अन्य सबै सिनेटरहरुको नामावली हाम्रो वेभसाइटमा सूचिकृत छ।  

साथै, एक महानुभावले सुपर सिनेटरका रूपमा ५,००० अमेरिकी डलर योगदान गर्नुभएको छ। उहाँले आफ्नो नाम गोप्य राख्न अनुरोध गर्नुभएको छ। यस विश्वव्यापी परोपकारी अभियानप्रतिको उहाँको असाधारण प्रतिबद्धताको सम्मानमा ती महान् आत्माका लागि जोरदार ताली बजाऔँ।

अहिले हामीसँग १४१ व्यक्तिगत सिनेटर र ९ संस्थागत सिनेटर गरी जम्मा १५० सिनेटर हुनुहुन्छ। प्रत्येक सिनेटरको योगदान भावी पुस्ताको शिक्षाका लागि सुरक्षित गरिने भएकाले अक्षयकोषमा कम्तीमा १ लाख ५० हजार अमेरिकी डलर कायम रहनु हाम्रो नैतिक तथा संस्थागत जिम्मेवारी हो।

स्थापनादेखि संस्थाले ३ लाख अमेरिकी डलरभन्दा बढी रकम संकलन गरेको छ र विद्यालय तथा शैक्षिक परियोजनाहरूमा १ लाख ४४ हजार डलरभन्दा बढी अनुदान प्रदान गरिसकेको छ। पारदर्शी अनुदान प्रक्रिया, स्पष्ट मूल्यांकन मापदण्ड र जिम्मेवार आर्थिक व्यवस्थापनप्रतिको हाम्रो प्रतिबद्धताले संस्थालाई Candid Gold Seal of Transparency प्राप्त गर्न सहयोग गरेको छ।

पछिल्ला पाँच वर्षमा स्थानीय साझेदारहरूसँगको सहकार्यबाट एक दर्जनभन्दा बढी विद्यालय सशक्त भएका छन् र ठूलो संख्यामा विद्यार्थी लाभान्वित भएका छन्। हाम्रा कार्यक्रमहरूमा पोषण, शैक्षिक सहयोग, STEM शिक्षा, कम्प्युटर तथा कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्ता प्रशिक्षण, स्वच्छ खानेपानी, डिजिटल साक्षरता र मानसिक स्वास्थ्य सचेतना समावेश छन्।

विशेषगरी नेपालको बझाङ जिल्लामा उपाध्यक्ष सरना श्रेष्ठ पराजुली, सल्लाहकार वैज्ञानिक डा. विष्णु जोशी, डा. सञ्जय यादव तथा स्थानीय नेतृत्वको सहकार्यमा सञ्चालन भएको मानसिक स्वास्थ्य कार्यक्रमको पहिलो चरण नौ विद्यालयमा पुगेको छ। कक्षा ९ देखि १२ सम्मका विद्यार्थीहरूको उत्साहजनक सहभागिताले यो कार्यक्रमलाई अझ विस्तार गर्नुपर्ने आवश्यकता देखाएको छ।

हामीले केवल रकम संकलन गरेका छैनौँ—हामीले विश्वास निर्माण गरेका छौँ, विद्यालयहरूलाई सशक्त बनाएका छौँ र बालबालिकाका लागि नयाँ सम्भावनाका ढोका खोलेका छौँ।

अब हाम्रो साझा लक्ष्य सिनेटर सदस्यता विस्तार गर्नु, अक्षयकोषलाई अझ सुदृढ बनाउनु, पारदर्शिता कायम राख्नु र प्रभावकारी शिक्षा, STEM, डिजिटल साक्षरता तथा मानसिक स्वास्थ्य कार्यक्रमलाई थप समुदायसम्म पुर्‍याउनु हो।

अन्त्यमा, सम्पूर्ण सिनेटरज्यूहरू, पदाधिकारीहरू, सल्लाहकारहरू, स्वयंसेवकहरू, स्थानीय साझेदारहरू तथा शुभेच्छुकहरूप्रति हार्दिक आभार व्यक्त गर्दछु।

Secretary’s Brief Annual Report

Education Global Senate Annual General Meeting—2026

Honorable President, distinguished chief guest, respected officers, esteemed Senators, and all distinguished guests present,

As Secretary of the organization, I am honored to present this brief annual report.

Established in 2022, the mission of the Education Global Senate is to build a global endowment fund and expand access to quality education for children from economically and socially disadvantaged communities. Our belief is clear: education is not a privilege; it is the right of every child.

The most important assets of our organization are not its buildings, bank accounts, or programs—our Senators are our greatest strength and most valuable capital. Their trust, contributions, and spirit of service have made this global philanthropic movement possible.

Throughout this year, we held regular meetings on the first Sunday of every month. In addition, we successfully convened a special AGM meeting on July 26, 2026.

During this period, we welcomed three new Senators:

Senator Preetesh Karki—California
Senator Santa Nagarkoti—Illinois
Senator Tirtha Raj Pandey—Maryland

The names of all our other Senators are listed on our website.

In addition, one distinguished individual contributed US$5,000 as a Super Senator. This generous donor has requested that their identity remain confidential. In recognition of this extraordinary commitment to our global philanthropic mission, let us offer a warm round of applause to this great soul.

We now have 141 individual Senators and nine organizational Senators, bringing the total number of Senators to 150. Because each Senator’s contribution is preserved to support the education of future generations, maintaining at least US$150,000 in the endowment fund is both our moral and institutional responsibility.

Since its establishment, the organization has raised more than US$300,000 and has awarded more than US$144,000 in grants to schools and educational projects. Our commitment to transparent grant procedures, clear evaluation criteria, and responsible financial management has helped the organization earn the Candid Gold Seal of Transparency.

Over the past five years, through collaboration with local partners, we have strengthened more than a dozen schools and benefited a significant number of students. Our programs have included nutrition, educational support, STEM education, computer and artificial intelligence training, access to clean drinking water, digital literacy, and mental health awareness.

In particular, the first phase of the mental health awareness program in Nepal’s Bajhang District has reached nine schools. The program was conducted through the leadership and collaboration of Vice President Sarana Shrestha Parajuli, Scientific Advisor Dr. Bishnu Joshi, Dr. Sanjay Yadav, and local leaders. The enthusiastic participation of students in Grades 9 through 12 has demonstrated the importance of expanding this program further.

We have not simply raised funds—we have built trust, strengthened schools, and opened new doors of opportunity for children.

Our shared priorities moving forward are to expand Senator membership, strengthen the endowment fund, uphold transparency, and extend effective education, STEM, digital literacy, and mental health programs to additional communities.

In closing, I extend my sincere gratitude to all Senators, officers, advisors, volunteers, local partners, and well-wishers.

Our Senators are our strength.
Transparency is our foundation.
And the education of future generations is our shared legacy.
